About Me
My name is Christopher Birrittella. I am currently a freshman at The Pingry School located in New Jersey. My journey in photography began as a year-long capstone project during my 8th-grade year. I started with an old Nikon camera, and as someone who had very little prior knowledge about photography, I was eager to learn everything I could. Throughout my 8th-grade year, I took photographs of a wide array of subjects, exploring each opportunity just to expand my understanding of this captivating art form. I quickly developed a keen interest in many different fields of photography and made the decision not to confine myself to just one style, but rather to try them all. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with stunning landscapes, capturing wild animals in their natural habitats, taking striking portraits, and even experimenting with long-exposure shots of fire and sparks. My goal became to be a versatile artist, which is when I ventured into the realm of videography and discovered that I had so much more to learn. Additionally, I found a growing interest in social media, focusing on maximizing views and exposure, and now I manage a full-time Instagram account as a dynamic way to learn and promote my work. I continue to diligently work on enhancing my skills as both a photographer and videographer, always seeking to expand my horizons with new opportunities as they arise.
